What is ITC?
ITC, or instrumental transcommunication, is the use of TVs, radios, computers, phones, and other modern technical devices to get in touch with the worlds of spirit.
In short…
ITC involves a communication bridge between researchers on Earth and spirit groups who work with them. Together they are called transpartners in ITC, since they are working together across dimensions.
The spirit groups who work directly with the earthside researchers reside at the “third level” of the Myers Model… also called the mid-astral plane. It’s where most of us on Earth awaken after we die. Those are the spirits who can forge ITC bridges with us, because they are most like us in appearance and disposition. The similarities allow us to resonate with each other, again, like radios all tuned to the same frequency.
As transpartners collaborate with each other, a field of life energy gradually forms to encompass the researchers, their equipment, and the spirit group. It’s this life energy, or contact field, which provides the fertile base for messages and images to be delivered by the spirit group to the equipment of the earthside researchers.
To us 21st Century humans, it all seems like magic when images and long texts suddenly appear on our computer hard drive… or when we get a phone call from a departed friend. For our spirit group, it is simply a matter of overcoming the challenges to ITC in order to make these natural communications happen... with the help and support of finer spirit (ethereal beings).
The biggest challenge to ITC is not the level of our technology here on Earth, but our human dispositions. When we pursue ITC research out of love, trust, honesty, and good will, the contact field gradually becomes clean and clear, and it apparently is not so difficult for a competent spirit group to work closely with us and with our equipment… and to deliver information to us in imaginative ways.
However, when we bring our fears, doubts, and animosities into ITC research, conflicts develop within us and among us earthside researchers… and the contact field becomes murky and incoherent. It’s like radios that begin to stray off frequency. Under those conditions, our competent spirit group begins to lose touch with us, and we might begin to pick up signals (get ITC contacts) of a more troubling nature… from darker, denser spirits who have been attracted to the fray.
So... ITC can flourish only when we can come to terms with our noble-savage dispositions.

- When we on Earth can pursue ITC and collaborate with each other from the finer spiritual part of ourselves, the contact field stabilizes, and we can get communications from the other side that are inspiring and informative.
- When we collaborate from the carnal part of ourselves, with its hormones, egos, and personalities, then the contact field destabilizes, and the communications degrade and disappear.
