We at World ITC Network understand that the world of ITC can be a very competitive environment to be in and with that can egos; with egos come fighting (in-house and externally) which hinders our ability to move forward and just overall hinders our abilities to research and even communicate with the people on the other side.
People have a natural desire to be the first; it gives us a sense of importance; it makes us feel above the people who may not be progressing as quickly as other people and with that comes an ego which makes us arrogant because we believe we are the chosen one. The other side to this are the people who are looking for fame and they hope wealth follows in suit. This is not he the case at all; it puts hurdles in the way of forwarding ITC for the positive.
As it is at the moment we have movies which portray ITC as a doorway to evil (I use evil very loosely); everything that goes bump in the night can't be good. The next side is all the urban legends and ghost stories which does not help us at all; people like a good scare but their minds don't leave the story as a story because it plays over and over. So now we have two sides which are not positive ones at all and people have these preconceived ideas what the other side is like and it is all murder; possession; people being injured etc etc. Every now and then someone curiosity gets the better of them and they go look and what researchers are doing and this is generally done via Youtube, Facebook and or Twitter and the first thing they see is evil this and evil that and evil the next thing which again does not help our cause at all; they keep digging anyway and the very next thing they come across is different paranormal groups slagging each other and justifying it because then it becomes right and acceptable; it carries on and on until it all just becomes to much to handle and they just walk away from the grief that is caused by us; the researchers. You can watch good people start choosing sides and they go deeper into the fights which had nothing to do with them to start with. So this brings me to the next point which these fights are not isolated and they are not only between different paranormal teams; you get the in house squabbles which spiral out of control in a reasonably short amount of time and before you know it teams stop focusing on the amazing work they were doing and focus on proving a team member wrong ; before you know it the team is gone and the work is forgotten.
At World ITC Network there are steps we need to follow to make sure we are joining the team for the right reasons and everyone joining will be required to do; we can't force you to do the self evaluation section but we would appreciate it very much because we believe if we know what our problems are we can work on them together (none of us are perfect) and help each other stay focused on why are here; why we do this and what do we want to achieve from this journey because ITC research is just that; a journey; if we all go together it can reach heights we never thought we could reach and with that a sense of community is born; a sense of friendship with people from all around the world is born. We know we can totally get rid of egos but if we recognize it we can deal with it and keep harmony between all of us.
The World ITC Network is about helping each other help the people on other planes talk to us and form connections and bridges that can stand the test of time.
